HERE INFORMATION *************** * BootAdvance
* *************** BootAdvance was designed to boot multple programs
off the ps2 devices such as memorycard,mass,HDD,rom0.... . It was designed to
be small in size and and simple to use and have the look of GRUB for linux.
*********** *
Booting * *********** currently it will boot from 'memory card' and 'host:'
or any program that pass 1 argument to it, but it was mainly designed to be placed
on the memorycard to be kicked by the 'PS2 I.D.' exploit. ************ *
Programs * ************ programs are stored in a file name 'bootinfo.txt'
which should be located in the same folder/path as the BootAdvance executable.
If executed from host then the 'bootinfo.txt' should be in the same folder that
BootAdvance was executed from host. see the sample 'bootinfo.txt' that came
with this file to see how it is written. **************** * bootinfo.txt
* **************** the bootinfo file is what BootAdvance use to configure
it self and install programs to ist menu. the following is a list of commands
that are 'currently' supported in a bootinfo file: *****************|***************|***************|*************** COMMANDS
*| ARGUMENT 1 *| ARGUMENT 2 *| ... * *****************|***************|***************|*************** loadmodule
| "modulename" | | application | "app name" | "elf
name" | *****************************************************************
**************** *
background * **************** you can use a 256x256 32/16 bit image GSI
image name 'bg.gsi' for a bckground. The background must be located in the same
folder/path as the BootAdvance executable but in a upcoming version it will be
supported in the bootinfo script. there should be more in this readme
but im tired. :|
