PCSX Reloaded SVN Changelog:
r72232
Changing Mac getters to be more Objective-C.
Getters in Objective-C are just named what they are getting, I.E. "getVariable" isn't valid, but "variable" is.

PCSX2 SVN r4967 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.
PCSX2 SVN Changelog:
r4966
GSdx: Added a simple workaround for the 32-bit z problem talked about in the
comments of r4956. Since sprites are flat and there was an unused vertex member
(t.w), I just decided to pass the raw uint32 value in that to the scanline
drawing function. It does not fix triangles and other primitive types, of
course. The ideal solution would be to break z into two parts (like 8:24 bits,
and only care about the upper part when not zero), interpolate separately and
rejoin when needed, it is just too hard to add another variable when the
assembly code is already so tightly optimized to use every register.
(HW mode z-test expects a float input, so this trick cannot be done there.)
r4967
GSdx: Just remembered triangles were occasionally converted to sprites, need to
set t.w there as well.

via http://www.scummvm.org/news/20111111/
It has been over 10 years. We are here thanks to the work of 131 developers. 49,124 commits were made just to the ScummVM tree and those turned into a massive 1,085,714 lines of code (excluding comments) and of course over 7.6 million downloads from the main site alone. I would say those were a great ten years.
The outcome is ScummVM 1.4.0 which we are releasing today, 11/11/11 11:11:11.11.
More games are supported: Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos <SMALL>(based on the same engine as Kyrandia)</SMALL>, the kids' game Blue's Birthday Adventure, and the science fiction game Ringworld: Revenge of the Patriarch. On top of that, practically all supported Sierra SCI games now have their Amiga versions working. Our musically inclined users will notice PC speaker support in Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, CMS support in Loom, The Secret of Monkey Island and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, fixed MIDI in the DOS versions of the Elvira series, and even sound in Winnie the Pooh in the Hundred Acre Wood!
As always, there are many more new features; you can find the full list in our release notes and the release itself on our downloads page.
Enjoy!
1.4.0 Release binaries
For a list of changes since the previous version, read the release notes.
1.4.0 is also apt-get'able from Debian unstable (sid).

GSdx: Bogus MSB bits of TEX0.CSA should be ignored as it looks. Only corrected where the palette is read (this fixes "Idol Janshi Suchie-Pai IV"), writes to the CLUT may be handled the same way, but so far no game has been found broken because of this.
r4956
GSdx: Also wrapping CLUT writes now, previous revision broke SFEX. CLUT buffer overruns are very rare, tell me if you find any other game doing it

Following shalma's recommendation, CDVD Status reads now also return the CDVD_STATUS_SPIN flag.
Apparently this is a common game breaker in PSX titles and it carried over to the PS2.
This fixes Time Crisis 2 loading and the frozen input in a horror game I have a dump of.

It's been some time since the last news post so this will help bring everyone up to date with what we've been up to.
-For those of you who haven't heard, the latest SVN builds of PCSX2 have a new speed hack thanks to cottonvibes, named MTVU (multi threaded VU) which enables PCSX2 to use 3 threads now! (4 if you count the minor GUI thread). The speed hack has very high compatibility and provides a big speed boost in most games, especially for triple and quad core CPUs (but even on dual cores).
-We have a new page on our site, which you can view by clicking 'SVN' at the top menu. You will find the 20 latest SVN builds there, courtesy of Orphis' build bot so you will be always up to date with the bleeding edge changes in PCSX2! Do keep in mind that these builds might be a bit buggier than the official releases since they are all work in progress.
-The configuration guide has been updated for the 0.9.8 release (a bit late ) and a new quick start guide has been created by avih aiming to be much more compact and easy to read. As always you can apply for translating in this thread. Check them both out!
-A new input plugin named Nuvee and developed by Shalma came to our attention, which is the first to support Lightguns and USB Mice! It seems it already works with almost all games supporting Lightguns so be sure to check it out HERE.
-New PCSX2 wiki hosted on our server, you can find it here!. With your input, the wiki will eventually become a huge knowledge base for individual game settings and known workarounds for bugs, so those of you willing, start contributing your findings
-Our youtube channel already has over 150,000 video views and almost 2,000 subscribers! You can visit it by clicking HERE.

PCSX2 SVN r4927 is released.
PCSX2 SVN Changelog:
r4925
GSDX:
- Use float instead of int for the video framerate.
- Use 59.94 instead of 60 for the ntsc framerate.
This replaces a previous hackfix with a better one, but it's still not ideal.
The ideal solution for the video encoding side would be to use an actual fraction (60000/1001) and pass this fraction to the encoder.
The ideal solution for the gsdx side would be to deduce the real framerate from the timing parameters.
r4926
GSDX: I didn't even like that code when I changed it. Now I know why. And it looks much better this way.
r4927
GSDX: Whoops sorry I mixed two conflicting ideas into one.

Pokopom PSX Pad Plugin v1.6 is released. Pokopom is a PSEmu Pro pad plugin that emulates a DualShock1 and DualShock2 controller for PS1 and PS2 emulators respectively. It only uses XInput, so as to avoid the DirectInput troubles with X360 controllers. It currently has no configuration available, and defaults to use the first and second XInput controllers as pad1 and pad2 respectively.
Pokopom PSX Pad Plugin v1.6 Changelog:
1.6 - 2011-08-12
Some internal changes to DualShock1. Also, now when in digital mode
the analog sticks can be used as dpad and face buttons respectively.
1.5 - 2011-08-11
Fixed a DualShock2 bug that caused Ar Tonelico to crash on startup.
1.4 - 2011-08-09
Fixed tons of bugs on DualShock2, that solves many issues. Thus, it no
longer requires the previous FF12 hack either.
-. Added "pressure" emulation, dunno if it works well though.
-. Added Hot plug/unplug, which seems to work alright.
1.3 - 2011-08-09
Added DualShock2 support for PCSX2 and other whatnots for that emu.
Also, added some vibration stuff from Harakiri's update.
http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-...dualshock.html
There's also a hacky auto_analog to avoid some issue with FF12. It kept
reverting back to digital mode.
-. Changed analog/digital toggle to the spacebar.
1.2 - 2011-08-08
Initial PCSX2 support.
1.1 - 2011-08-08
Minor changes to rumble, added readme on package.
Now it stops the rumbling on close.
1.0 - 2011-08-06
Initial release.

PCSX2 SVN r4915 is released.
PCSX2 SVN Changelog:
r4913
cmake: fix some linking issue with gold linker (AFAIK only fedora use it for the moment)
r4914
GSdx: New: Dynamic CRC Hacks system (disabled by default).
See tools/dynacrchack/DynaCrcHack.c for full instructions.
For development of CRC hacks (and just for the fun of creating such a system), Allows GSdx to load and use CRC hack logic from an external DLL, and reload it, at runtime, whenever this DLL changes (but act normally if this DLL isn't found).
This external DLL is compiled from a single C source file (a sample is provided, containing the current MGS3 CRC hack logic). There's also a system to automatically compile this C file into the DLL whenever the C file is modified, thus creating a system of instant [save C file] -> [GSdx switches to the new logic].
It's actually a pretty cool system, and might have other usages where it's useful, for the sake of tests/development/tweaking, to modify code logic during runtime. The overhead of such system compared to pre-compiled code is very low (e.g., in the case of CRC hacks which are called thousands of times/sec, I couldn't notice any difference in performance).
Compilation of the C file is currently done using TCC (Tiny C Compiler - http://bellard.org/tcc/ - extremely fast, light and powerful). TCC itself needs to be downloaded separately (~250K download, no install required). The system currently supports Windows only.
r4915
Oops. Now it's disabled by default
